Rexie's Free Studio Time Contest
What do you win?
Free studio time to complete one song. This is limited to 25 hours total time.
How do I enter/submit my songs?
Sign up for contest by making a demo and sending by email to noamt1@gmail.com and to get specific instructions for submitting the song.
You Must include in the Email:
1) The audio file of the song.
2) Your First and Last Name
3) Your Email
4) Typed Lyrics to your song
It can be super low-fi made on your cheap laptop. This is about the song. Not the production. The less production and orchestration on the recording the better.
THE SONG MUST BE THE SONGS YOUR PROPERTY. COVER SONGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
How do you win?
You win by being judged the best song that I think I can produce. How am I going to make that judgement? You are going to submit a simple garage band or 4 track or whatever version of the song that you have made. You will send the music to me (preferably in digital format) and then I will judge it the week after the contest ends.
What kind of music am I looking for?
I am looking for great pop music. I mean popular music. This could be rock, this could be r&b, this could be hip hop. Pure rap is probably not gonna win, but you could have the skills to chage my mind. Suprise me.
What are the rules?
1) All submissions must be made be 12:00 AM on Monday November 17th
2) Submissions must be sent via email to noamt1@gmail.com
3) Songs must be sent in a recorded format. I will not listen to stuff over the phone.
4) Songs must be in mp3 format.
5) Lyrics to the song must also be included in the email submission.
6) If you cannot submit an mp3 by email, please contact me at noamt1@gmail.com for alternatives.
